Eight Weeks Old - First Trip to Yellowstone

Well, Joshua is now 8 weeks old. Horray! Yesterday he made his first trip to Yellowstone National Park and saw Old Faithful blow twice! We will post pictures soon. Grandma Julie (Peter's mom) has all the pictures on her camera.

Joshua has been growing fast. We will find out this Friday just how much he's grown. He has outgrown all his premie clothes, and will soon outgrow most of his 0-3 months clothes.

Fun facts:

• Thursday, August 3 he slept eight hours. That is the second time in his life. He usually sleeps about six hours a night, for which we are very grateful.
• He likes to sit up in his stroller. We have found that he likes to see where he is going instead of laying down and staring at the ceiling.
• He has started to look at people instead of just looking at whatever.
• He likes to watch Higglytown Heros and Little Einsteins.
• He has started to try sucking his thumb. Grandma Julie has helped him with this. We don't know how we feel about it yet...
