6 Months and Crawling!!!!

Well, half a year has past already and Pete and I are in total disbelief that Joshua is already 6 months old. On December 1, 2006 Joshua decided he was ready to get from place to place in a way other than rolling, so he started to "crawl." He didn't crawl like people picture crawling, but he kind of inchwormed at first. You know getting up on his hands and knees and then putting his arms forward and getting back up on his hands and knees and putting his arms forward, etc. He is getting much better on his hands and knees, but uses his hands and toes more than his knees. He is a persistant little guy. He is mastering his movement on the kitchen floor, which is kind of frustrating for him sometimes. He has started to crawl over the pillows that I put around him when he is on my bed and took a tumble today, right off the bed. He is fine, but it was a little scary for him. He got more shots on Monday as well as a flu shot. The last few days have been really hard. He has however slowed down on his growing now though. He is 26 1/4 inches long and 15 lbs 14 oz. He is 50% for his height and 25% for his weight. He is in the 75% for his head though. We are anxiously awaiting our trip to Pennsylvania to meet Joshua's Aunt and Uncles and cousins that live out there. Sadly we won't be meeting all of his Aunts and Uncles on my side, but that's the way it goes sometimes. Joshua has started to sit at the fridge and play with the ABC magnets that we have. I love it and it is just so cute. He is growing more and more and developing right along too. It is so interesting and entertaining to watch him.
