Well, Joshua turned 4 months old yesterday! We can't believe it has been that long already, but at the same time it feels like we have had him forever. He went to the doctor yesterday and got his second set of immunization shots. He weighed in at 14 lbs 3 oz. and 26 inches long. His head is 16 and 3/4 inches around. He is in the 25% for his weight and the 90% for his height and the 50% for his head. He is getting better about being on his tummy and is getting better rolling from his tummy to his back. We think he will be rolling from his back to his tummy soon. He gets all the way over except for his arm that he is laying on top of. He is really developing his personality and it is so much fun. He loves to have Pete through him up in the air and flip him around. He is learning to really trust us. He has started to eat "solid" food. He loves his rice cereal and eats it really well. We are still working on breaking him from sucking his thumb, and he has started sucking his other fingers too. It is hard to teach a child not to do something when they don't really know what you are saying. Pictures will follow soon. We went and got our family picture taken, the first professional one since he has joined our lives, so when we get them we will post them on here and share them with all of you.
As for the parents, Pete had a phone interview with Ernst & Young (an accounting firm and one of the BIG 4) on Monday the 9th of October and recieved an email this morning the 12th telling him that they would like him to go down to Orange County, CA for a face to face interview on November 2nd. He is really very excited! He is going on an internship expedition to Boise, ID at the end of October to get a foot into the businesses up there as well. Ande is just being a mom and wife and trying to stay up on the house. It is amazing how much stuff a baby has and how easily it attacks the living room and clutters everything.
